Hands-on experience and everyday is a new learning
Claims Associate (Former Employee) –  Thane, MaharashtraApril 28, 2018
This is a workplace that has a lot to offer. Working with Willis helped me in learning things that I still use in my daily life. The co-employees were friendly and helped me out with my errands. But the stress-level was much as there was a lot of tasks to deal with. And the work used to pile up. Management tried to help but it was out-of-hand. Overall it was a good experience to work with Willis.
Pros
Free lunches, transportation, hands-on training
Cons
Overtime, stress, etc.

Great flexibility, no career growth & salary benefit for Non Consulting teams
Corporate (Former Employee) –  GurgaonMarch 7, 2018
One of the best companies to work if you are looking for flexibility and work life balance.
Been there for more than 3 years, with the best and high performance ratings and yet one of the lowest salary increases and no career growth and defined career path for employees who are not working as HR consultants or not directly bringing business.
The work was great, amazing learning on what the role was when it began, but it becomes stagnant when you are repeatedly doing the same things. It felt great during the first one year, but seeing the business side of employees moving fast up in their career in a span of even 1 year, and seeing yourself being there for more than 3 years (with best performance ratings and excellent feedback) and still be there at the same level, position, salary where you joined, was demotivating. That was the hardest part of the job. Excellent to work for if you are in the business side (e.g. Rewards, Retirement, Investment).
When shared with the management on career growth, they increased the scope of my work and I was happy to learn more, which got extremely hectic (but I was more than happy to learn as much), however even then, working on increased responsibilities and getting high quality feedback from all stakeholders, there was no growth again, neither position wise and nor salary wise. When this was raised out, the only thing shared back by the senior management was that they were tight on budgets (which was extremely disheartening). An employee who puts his heart out and gets excellent performance ratings on paper and has a great rapport all
more... around, when told that he is not getting up there in his career because the company is low on budgets, it breaks you after you have waited for a long time. Not meaning to be negative, I believe non-business functions of the company were highly ignored in terms of career growth (unless you have a good personal connection with someone high up in the management).
Re-iterating, the work, the experience, the culture, the flexibility and everything else that you can imagine for your dream work place, is this company (except the above).

A typical day of work starts from the day to day task and work analysis then accordingly we plan and disturbute the work withim the team.
• Work involves negotiating with different insurers in UK for a best quote, providing the best quote/insurer to client and thereafter billing the client for the policy they want to be insured with.
• Prepare invoices, drafts and other documents using word, spreadsheet or presentation softwareand formatting reports relating to insurance claim
• Preparing renewal questionnaire by using the source document as policy wordings & MRC slips to estimate and analysis to obtain the best quotes for the client.

up the same

Senior Associate (Current Employee) –  MumbaiAugust 21, 2017
First thing the job environment is really very cool to work around. Peace of mind, only 8 hours working which is very best. Though the work burden is lil higher but the way the management handles things in very hazzel free. Work and life wise balance it is little difficult they should look in to the married womens need according to the work. Work from home option needs to be given. Second shift timings needs to b changed .
Pros
8 hrs

Nice company reputation but declining slowly
Actuarial Analyst (Former Employee) –  Gurgaon, HaryanaJuly 1, 2017
The management should be much better for such a prestigious organisation. There is zero work life balance.
There is a lot to learn from an individual basis and also the colleagues are very supportive. On the other hand the manager is not supportive at all.
There ia no fix work timing and need to extend working work atmost on daily basis.
