It depends on individual how he plans your day as work pressure is there and sometimes you dont have anything. management is strict with work related things and they are very helpfull in terms of any things required wherever required. Facilities are good events are also organised during occasions.
Willis is such a company where they don't value their employees at all.I had a mentor and a team leader who used to calculate the time that I used to take to use the washroom. She had even said me once , today you took 8 minutes be careful from tomorrow!!!!I don't want to reveal their names! It's not only me, there are many who had become their slaves.
This is a workplace that has a lot to offer. Working with Willis helped me in learning things that I still use in my daily life. The co-employees were friendly and helped me out with my errands. But the stress-level was much as there was a lot of tasks to deal with. And the work used to pile up. Management tried to help but it was out-of-hand. Overall it was a good experience to work with Willis.
- A typical day at work is about complete the assigned work and you will have no other stress. - The breaks are not monitored - The management is open to friendly environment. - Work culture includes discipline, no gender discrimination - The most enjoyable part of work is celebrating eah and every festival. - The hardest part of job is sitting 6-7 hours a day
One of the best companies to work if you are looking for flexibility and work life balance. Been there for more than 3 years, with the best and high performance ratings and yet one of the lowest salary increases and no career growth and defined career path for employees who are not working as HR consultants or not directly bringing business. The work was great, amazing learning on what the role was when it began, but it becomes stagnant when you are repeatedly doing the same things. It felt great during the first one year, but seeing the business side of employees moving fast up in their career in a span of even 1 year, and seeing yourself being there for more than 3 years (with best performance ratings and excellent feedback) and still be there at the same level, position, salary where you joined, was demotivating. That was the hardest part of the job. Excellent to work for if you are in the business side (e.g. Rewards, Retirement, Investment). When shared with the management on career growth, they increased the scope of my work and I was happy to learn more, which got extremely hectic (but I was more than happy to learn as much), however even then, working on increased responsibilities and getting high quality feedback from all stakeholders, there was no growth again, neither position wise and nor salary wise. When this was raised out, the only thing shared back by the senior management was that they were tight on budgets (which was extremely disheartening). An employee who puts his heart out and gets excellent performance ratings on paper and has a great rapport allmore... around, when told that he is not getting up there in his career because the company is low on budgets, it breaks you after you have waited for a long time. Not meaning to be negative, I believe non-business functions of the company were highly ignored in terms of career growth (unless you have a good personal connection with someone high up in the management). Re-iterating, the work, the experience, the culture, the flexibility and everything else that you can imagine for your dream work place, is this company (except the above).less
