Tata steel is one of the best steel growing plant located in Jamshedpur . I was working as aircraft maintenance technician (supervisor) in sonari airport Jamshedpur , maintaining the executive jet of the company . The company provided salary , annual bonus , quarter and medical facilities as well as other benefits but due to look after my old guardian I shifted to my native place and at the same time my study of my children where I did my graduation brought me for their better improvement in Ranchi.

Though the working here was very stressful but in the end you will feel that you accomplished something. In the first part of my carrier management was supportive and you would have a feeling that nothing can deter you from accomplishing your task.

But in the later part of my carrier when the management changed there was huge shift and it felt like the new management was there to kick you out and there was no one to listen to your problems you face while you work in ground level. The management was totally removed from the ground realities. It is like you must achieve the required goal any how without any support from your superior or you are good for nothing.

Handling task at the coal beneficiation plant helps us in enhancing the preparation of coal by improvising it’s techniques to be involved in each of the segments along with various parameters associated with the processes. There are various numbers of equipment available at the plant for enhancing the efficiency of the respective machines along with improving the quality of the product to be derived from the operations. The economical storage, loading and unloading of the coal car, maintenance of the machines, improving the technical knowledge regarding the respective subject associate with each job depends completely on the handling equipment and the management linked with the plant. In the present paper, the complete assessment of the coal beneficiation plant is being discussed elaborately along with the three major parameters: pumps installed, processes involved and performance indicators. These three parameters play a major role in the production of the coal at the respective plant, so it is very crucial for any of the production and manufacturing firms to focus their major interest over this matter. The context of the topic is on the types of processes and operations involved at the beneficiation plant along with the handling phenomena. The separation of coal in different segments play significant role for any of the production industries as it gives the major contribution in raising the economic aspects for the respective firms. The handling of coal plays an essential role in the industries as it ensures the proper channeling of the coal to be supplied for the sound functioning  more... in the different branches of the plant i.e. thermal power plant, power house etc. We also dealt with the performance of the machines installed at the plant along with the various features of the machines (pumps) which will help us in analyzing the role of all the elements taking part during the process for separation of coal at the beneficiation plant.  less

2.Working culture is awesome. No cast ism or any unfavorable advantage for employees is there.

4. Facility for employees is Best as on compare to INDIAN STANDARDS.
5. As the paper work is more, company seems to be working as a government fashion.
6. Top management is helping but whole responsibility of company relies on its MANAGER ,middle level of management.
7. You wont compelled to work hence wont learn much if you dont want to yet it follows worlds best and emerging technologies for its production line.Hence scope for learning is much only limited to your hunger of learning.
8.You will feel proud as it is the few GROUP/COMPANY in worlds who boast and follow ethical practices for everything.
9. In Steel industry at Raw Materials locations (Remote Locations) No other company officers can roam freely as they used to deplete the natural resources .Whole community opposes them. But a TATA STEEL officers can roam proudly because For TATA's Community is not a stakeholder but a very purpose of existence.

An organisation which stands on the edifice of Ethics , Human Relations & System & Processes the day in Steel group starts with oath of safety , with all the employees doing Total productive Maintenance on shop floor in the morning with tune at music , understanding fugais (non - abnormalities) with review meeting by Chief of the Plant.

Learning is "Lifeline of Tata Steel" on every walk one can learn the unique secret ie "Human Touch " is very much important while running any organization. Steel group teaches the philosophy ie we are custodian of shareholders wealth , our vusion is to generate wealth for the stakeholders but not at the cost of Ethics which is robust pillar of organization.

Management of Tata Steel is very much co-operative employee centric for whom "People matters a lot".

Tata Steel work culture is very much transparent it gives voice to all employees to speak and voice there issues infront of the Managing Director .

The hardest part of job was not to introduce Multi skill horizontal as well as vertical for the plants of Boisar in Mumbai at Tata Steel.

The most enjoyable part was playing sports after finishing individual work at Tata Steel . Playing gave us team spirit and transmitted & channelized energy for the betterment of employee as well as organisation.
