In 1856, T.J. Smith opened his family pharmacy in Hull, UK and developed a new way to refine cod liver oil. On his death 40 years later, his nephew Horatio Nelson Smith took over, giving us the second part of our name. The company grew rapidly during World War One, supplying surgical and field dressings to the armed forces. Since then, we have continued to explore. In the 80s and 90s, we entered into the arthroscopy and sports medicine businesses.

Great staff. Good working conditions and excellent understanding. Since it was an internship, lack of knowledge, nothing new to learn. I used to work on the same thing everyday. But people around were positive and kind.
