Jr. Executive (Former Employee) – Pune, Maharashtra – September 26, 2018
It has really good working environment with one of the best management. We all work for job satisfaction and adequate compensation with helpful management. You will get all these under one roof in Sears.
Major Layoffs for past 2 years. No job Security at all. No new projects. Mostly support work/ enhancement for existing projects. Slow learning curve if you get into support team. However some teams do have better learning curves. Good pay. good transportation facility.
Technical Lead - IT operation (Current Employee) – Bengaluru, Karnataka – July 27, 2018
I am working since last 2 years so I am a better person to speak about the current status of life at Sears
Work culture - Supportive and friendly unless you don't do your job properly Salary hikes - Average 10 % depend on performance Location - easily get project release . You can ask for your choice location. Transport- Provides transport facility Technology - many new projects with latest technology Leave policy - very employee friendly Events - almost every event celebration happens in office. Training - it gives you options for so many training available as webinar as well as class room which you can attend.
Very good company
Supportive and friendly unless you don't do your job properly
A good company to work. Culture/management of the company is very good, avg work pressure. Management is good, but no learning unless you try. If you are feeling stressed, you can play ping pong, pool, carrom or foosball.
Good work life balance
No learning unless you try yourself, no free lunch
My overall short tenure in Sears holdings India gave me an opportunity to learn various nuances of the business. From establishing positive work relationship with stakeholders to managing the team of writers and editors, I was able to take up most of the tasks efficiently.
