Schlumberger Careers and Employment

About us
With a history and culture of science and innovation, we’re the world’s leading provider of reservoir characterization, drilling, production, and processing technologies to the oil and gas industry.

Working globally, we invent, design, engineer, apply, and maintain technologies that help our customers find and produce oil and gas more efficiently
 – more... and safely—often in remote and challenging locations.

From pore to pipeline, our technical solutions in reservoir characterization, well construction and reservoir production reduce subsurface uncertainty and increase production and recovery.

Founded in 1926, the company takes its name from Conrad and Marcel Schlumberger, brothers who transformed the energy industry with the revolutionary idea of using electrical measurements to map subsurface rock formations. We employ around 100,000 people and work in more than 85 countries. We leverage strong local experience and the diversity in thought, background, and knowledge that more than 140 nationalities bring.

We work hard to attract, retain and develop diverse talent. You will always be encouraged to grow and you will never stop learning. Join us today to help us meet the technical challenges of tomorrow’s upstream oil and gas industry.

I worked at Schlumberger India and it had good work-life balance. Everyone was very helpful and understanding throughout the whole journey. I worked on applications related to Supply Chain Management Domain under PICT. All the applications I worked on were legacy applications which were to be moved to SAP soon.
