Property Manager (Former Employee) –  Bengaluru, KarnatakaMarch 2, 2019
Days and range from being very peaceful to downright chaos. There'll be days you can come back home on time and times you might have to stay back to get things done.

I have learnt too many things in the company. I have opened 1 property with OYO and this has taught me everything I need to know about hotels right from square 1.

Management quality can vary drastically in terms of who you report to, they could be smart and helpful to smart and horrible.
The heads of management have no much control over what what happens on the ground level so there is a lot of scope to learn.

Hardest part of the job is dealing with the certain people in the company especially if you have a moral compass pointed in the right direction.

The challenge is the most enjoyable part of the job. You never know what a new day holds for you at OYO.

worst company to work with
hotel owner (Former Employee) –  Mount Abu, RajasthanMarch 1, 2019
oyo is terrible for guest and hotel owners both
OYO hacked my google business (i am a Hotel Owner) and changed the name to oyo……. Hotel on asking them to give back the google business to us they have denied. they are parasites for Hotel owners eating on what hotel owners earn
and guest do not get services due to oyo is because they reduce on the selling price at an extent thay can and owners of hotel Have to accept the booking so ultimately guest suffer as due to low selling price you get low quality service

As a sales intern, was able to learn many things at ground zero. Internship helped me in getting the practical corporate experience and how to deal with clients. It taught me that sales is the backbone of any firm what so ever it may be.

Also, responsible for the SLAs on inbound channel of property owners who reach out to OYO using voice or email medium. Post establishing eligibility, various data points are collected & verified online, before converting these leads to partnership worthy opportunities for OYO.

Not a great place to work - Especially in sales or business development
Business Development Manager (Current Employee) –  Chennai, Tamil NaduJune 26, 2018
Work life balance is bad. People are asked to work even on holidays. Everyone gives speech as though the company is the soul and we have to live our life for that.
Pros
I haven't found one so far.
Cons
They want you to dedicate your life for the company
