Don't work for any of the Japanese sites
Sales (Former Employee) – 京都府 – March 18, 2019
It is a really big company (No.1 motor company in the world) that has about 100,000 workers, and strongly promotes M&A which changes the structure all the time.
Typical Japanese company, so if you want logical environment, not recommended. Head office or other subsidiary in Japan was quite strict about appearances and manner, which i think it was quite racist and sexist. International departments and oversea sites seemed to be casual and a nice place...but you will see a lot of slogans and orders on the wall.
Your working style really depends on your manager and the team you will be in.
CEO has a great image in business but the managers that interpret them are not quite good.
Japanese side does a lot of meaningless meetings and micromanagement. my image is not good.
Salary was not quite good either, thinking of salary, there would be a lot of other options instead of going to this company.
