I have worked with Accenture prior to IBM and the only area that IBM beats Accenture is the work life balance. IBM is quite flexible with work from home arrangements and medical leaves. But in terms of career advancement and salary hikes you'll be disappointed. The Managers also have a parallel HR role, so you need to be very very cautious while on the floor.
Flexible Work Arrangements, Medical Leaves, Work from Home
Manager plays HR, Slow Career Advacement, Job Securiy, Employee Engagement
Overall a great company to settle down and work with over time as Job Security is great. High volume of verticals and clients ensure continued employment to existing employees. Salary increase is minimal overall. Management is unreachable and invisible as sometimes you don't even get to see your manager/team in person those who are so much responsible for your career growth and reviews. Job Culture is wonderful, Depending on the project you seem to be in.
Productive with well work life balanced. Infrastructure is perfect. Work from home option is excellent. Cross training at IBM would make us strong with different skills, which would be very helpful in career growth.
