IBM is providing good career growth but it can help to experienced employee only. Fresher's will salaries which is lower than cost of living in Bangalore. However, it is good platform to join as experienced person.
IBM needs a strong HR leader to drive the show, first thing to remove the old timers from the pack and get some young talents in to the system, the old ones are the bottleneck and dont let new trends and technique to flourish in to the system
I don't have anything against the company management overall, only about the process of assigning us to projects, it would be better if the resource manager understands our skillset than focusing on closing the open positions in projects.I'm going through a bad experience now of being placed in the wrong project and wrong role.
Indeed IBM is an amazing work place with flexible work hours and job security. The management and work environment is very friendly and offer chance to grow and learn. I will always thank to IBM for giving me such an opportunity to grow.
No other company is even comparable to IBM in terms of work and personal life balance. It's really good and work culture is great. Leave policy, Medical Health Insurance, work environment, work from home, etc are very good facilities to employees.
Being a fresher IBM has given me ample opportunities. But the people here are very slow paced. Salary structure should be looked at. And one thing i meed to add is that in training they should give options to people on what they want to get trained on.
The work was routine and about the same every day however, team leads maintained good balance all around. Hardest part was lack of challenging work. Most enjoyable part was excellent colleagues, good infrastructure, good leadership.
Routine work which includes few challenges All Customer driven no new initiative taken by IBM, even if something proposed that has to be delivered with IBM products even if that doesn't match and there will not be any continuity for any initiative.
