Management is street wise Italians that has no sense of business or professionalism.
No proper European Management.
No idea which is the selection criteria.
Spanish Director that barely speaks english
Italian Director that barely understands english
No HR/Finance in place
all centralized in Palma and you have to deal with it.

Benifts outweigh the cons

I worked for this company for 7 years, and if you are willing to do the work, the benifts outweigh the cons. Don't expect to sit around doing nothing for long periods of time, this is fast paced so there's always something to do. The work load can feel overwhelming sometimes, but you just have to push through it. The only things that frustrated me about this company is that they are more reactive than being proactive, most issues could be resolved before they happen, but there is a disconnect between departments. Upper management offers a service level to a client promising one thing but never delivers to the level agreement due to unrealistic expectations. My suggestion to the company, ask your front line team (customer care /CRC) what obstacles they encounter and what complaints they receive from clients the most and start to resolve those issues from there. Stop pushing your CRC support to 3rd party companies that don't truly understand the client's needs. Upper management cannot understand what difficulties are experienced at the bottom level without getting your hands dirty.

En el CRC Call Center en Palma, el control es nivel esclavitud, no puedes desconectarte ni un segundo del teléfono, 8 horas conectado, no debe ser ni legal. Te hacen trabajar sábados y no los pagan porque entre sábados y los días festivos que nos obligan a trabajar, superamos las 1752 horas que marca la ley y lo esconden devolviendo esasa horas trabajadas de más, en más tiempo para la pausa de comida, ILEGAL.

A typical work day consists of clocking in and going stariaght to work. I learned to work with different computer systems all at once in order to solve any booking problems. Management nd coworkers were always near if help was needed. The hardest park of the job was being able to solve a booking when there was a problem with previous departments. The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to solve problems when working with different agencies to be able to give the customers the greatest of experiences with their bookings

There are uncertainties in the company as they intend to sell off the whole company.
Retrenchment without advance notification.
Inter-departments are unable to work cohesively.
Company runs by Spanish and there are cultural difference in running business.

Un día típico en el trabajo era la resolución de problemas del usuario hacia el hotel, lo más dificícil era el trato con algunos usarios, era un gran ambiente laboral y lo que más aprendí fue a tratar gente de todos tipo (clase social, creencias, culturas, etc.)
