CRISIL has given me the exposure to a great work environment and has given me immense knowledge to understand and analyse business at real world conditions. Key Skills acquired at CRISIL *) Analytical skills *) Financial & Credit research *) Credit ratings *) Exposure into the global market *) Team management to deliver timely reports to the end customer
The work life balance is good but the work gets monotonous and unchallenging after some time. The management is understanding. The 2 major drawbacks are: 1. It does not pay well 2. Allocation to a department for fresher is not made keeping their interests in mind and it gets difficult to make an interdepartmental switch afterwards.
Crisil provides a good work life balance. I learned to assess credit rating of companies that involved business and financial risk analysis. Beyond work, it also gave opportunities to expand your lateral thinking. Here it organized idea and innovation challenge that required one to pitch a venture that this organization could pursue.
A typical day at CRISIL used to be fun, starting with communication with the onshore analyst on surveillance and discuss about key findings and key credit factors and discussion with the team manager. It was pleasure working with a wonderful and expert team in respective domains, learning something new as to how we see a condition and its impact on the overall ratings.

Great Environment and conducive for for future growth.Very Polite and helpful colleagues and management. Payscales slightly low.
CRISIL is fun to work and learn. Ample amount of opportunities for performers. One gets to do lot of client interaction which helps you become independent at work.Being at CRISIL one earns a lot of respect amongst his/her peer group. You are always surrounded by good people who are ready to help and ready to give inputs for improvement.Salary is the hardest part of the job as CRISIL pays very less than the industry standards when compared to company's peers in financial services industry.
