Software Engineer (Former Employee) – Mumbai, India – November 4, 2018
Being an Oracle Certified Java Profession I was still assigned a Level 3 Support Analyst job. Using my skills I persuaded in becoming one of the key code enhancer in C++ embedded in Solaris 10.2. The associates were good but not well skilled. The management skills were poor. The onsite offshore work model was not well handled. Good place to learn skills if willing too.
You could be put on bench for long time(undefined) You could be put on the project of the technology which you don't have learned ever. You could be put on Support and Maintenance/Monitoring Tasks ( Being Software Engineer/Developer) You couldn't see a single line of code/program of any technology over the years, as this couldn't be part of your job (Being Software Engineer) You have to do backstabbing, politics, favoritism or else your appraisal will get spoiled and you won't get hike, perks, benefits. So to get all of this first you have to be a girl or you have to swing your tail in front of your manager. Higher managements, HRs, HRBPs, never ever be concerned what is going on with you. You are alone in this company.
Better Worklife Balance
Transportation, Compensation, Appraisal System is monopolic
