Assistant General Manager (Current Employee) – Delhi, Delhi – July 11, 2018
I am the self motivated person therefore my learning is different from others . Otherwise it gives you a chance to learn only when you yourself would want to. work culture is more or less demanding as of any other airline.
It was a travel job where I travelled vast amounts of time and learned so much about cultures and countries. Travel is the best educator. It pitches you up against varied people, unbelievable situations, once in a lifetime opportunities, inexplicable circumstances- all these add up to teach you priceless things about life, about people about our planet.
Since flight operations are round the clock , we are subjected to odd hour call time. This generally involves a long flight, often over 10 hours or more. But there’s adequate rest with all facilities in 5 star hotels. The remuneration is pretty healthy, with company perks and other benefits like free Medicals and passages.

Exposure in airline business, good learning.
learned the fare calculation and its intricacies, , now Galileo does that for all, but working out a fare used to be very challenging and exciting task. You get the kick if you worked out a better fare, than your colleague, constent learning

It is a good place for the fresh intern graduates in aviation field to have a practical knowledge along with hands on experience. You get a better opportunity to work on an aircraft like: maintenance work. There are different shops or departments where you can visit and have a complete view and knowledge of the system under maintenance in particular department.
I work almost in all areas of airport Reservation & ticketing, marketing, check-in, boarding, cargo handling, loading supervisor, controller, load & trim sheet licence, finance function, VIP charters handlings etc
