Role: Architect / Senior Architect
Expertise in one or more of the Big Data Platforms/tools (Hadoop, Cloudera, IBM Big Insights).
Good understanding of BI and Data warehousing concepts (good to have).
Hands on expertise, having delivered 2 or more client implementations using these tools.
Experience in using these tools with one of the appliance like Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum (with Bigdata an added advantage)
Having used Big Data integration features with social network data, SAS, R.
Good understanding of performance tuning aspects of the tool, using in-memory options.
Good experience with pre-sales cycles, ability to create quick POCs • Having played client facing roles, ability to create demos and conduct presentations.
Ability to solution and estimate efforts for a Big Data implementation.
