Managerial Responsibilities: Supports organizational development,assists with management of department and individual targets and provides leadership direction to achieve goals Evaluates performance of team members,provides feedback on an on-going basis to the VP of HR,identifies development needs and coaches them to ensure on-going capability development Identifies training needs and organizes trainings for the department on various relevant aspects Communicates effectively and in a timely manner with the team on HR Management Information,project plans,communication plans etc. Core Responsibilities: Assists the VP - HR in developing and implementing HR strategy for URC,along with preparing of HR Budget,Annual workforce plan and training calendar Designs,develops and implements compensation and benefits structure,which is aligned to the business strategy and corporate objectives of the organization and ensures that pay anomalies and exceptions are minimized and are in accordance with the URC policy and procedures Recommends changes to compensation structure; develop new,enhance or revise existing compensation and benefits programs based on current trend analysis and policy direction Ensures effective communication of the salary & benefit to ascertain that colleagues and managers understand its aim,value and guide managers through compensation decisions Evaluates compensation levels for various departments and positions to determine external competitiveness based on analysis of survey data to determine the competitive position and recommends changes in salary structure as required Reviews and updates the HR policy manual,highlighting anomalies and mismatches to the compensation structure along with providing accurate interpretation of HR policy related to compensation and benefits Issues guidelines relating to annual exercises of the organization including workforce budget,bonus,salary review and performance management Assists the VP - HR in identifying the areas of Human Resource process for automation and compiles accurate & adequate information to facilitate decision making where requested Provides inputs to payroll regarding any payroll related issues as and when required Assists with the development of new HR systems,tools,records databases,filling and correspondence in partnership with IT and external providers. Manages the communication and implementation of performance evaluation process to build and maintain a performance oriented team at URC Provides direction and support to the training team to ensure development of talent pipeline within the organization Adheres to budgets in conjunction with department allocations,tracks expenses and presents reports to the management when requested Maintains relationships with external vendors and HR consultants and assists with the implementation of new processes and practices Performs other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by the VP - HR Self-Management: Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all competencies and skills required to perform the role Sets performance goals in the beginning of the year after discussion with the VP - HR and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the VP - HR to ensure that the required training is arranged and attended
