Identify & prioritize Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives in consultation with the BU Management, which are in line with business & client requirements and group level QA initiative (e.g., 6 Sigma program, industry QA models, etc,).
Obtain details on project pipeline from the BU Management, and communicate the same to Centre SQA Manager for planning SQA resources.
Co-ordinate with the SM (SSDM) / PM (SDM) at project start to determine QMS applicability, and accordingly communicate the Centre SQA Manager for “Software Quality Advisor” (SQA) allocation.
Communicate SQA allocation to the respective SM (SSDM) / PM (SM), and any changes thereafter.
Maintain list of project, ensure that the same is updated to reflect the current project status & SQA allocation status, and communicate the same to BU Management for validating the project coverage.
Ensure that Process Compliance Index (PCI) and Key Performance Indication (KPI) reporting is done for the applicable projects; defaulters if any are escalated to BU Management.
Release PCI and KPI report as per the agreed timelines to the BU management, highlighting the “improvements observed”, “improvement areas” and “concerns”.
Conduct monthly meeting with BU management to provide updates & status on the planned improvement initiatives, and escalate concerns (if any).
Conduct process review meetings with problematic projects, which are highlighted during the monthly meeting with BU management.
Provide project data, as requested by the SEPG & Risk Review teams.
Handle client presentation on QA, process improvements.
