Posted Position Title Control Engineer - Oil & Gas (TTCA) Career Level Experienced Function Engineering/Technology Function Segment Product Design and Development Location India City Hyderabad Postal Code 500081 Relocation Expenses Yes Role Summary/Purpose He or She should be in a position to independently develop the Application /Project specific Controls engineering , software development and HMI for the Gas turbine applications.
He or she should be knowledgeable to understand the detailed engineering activities and support on the same. Essential Responsibilities - Basic & Detailed Engineering / Control software & HMI development for Gas turbine / Compressor Control Systems. - Interface with other engineering disciplines and GE O&G Organizations for Control system design. - Technical review of Suppliers Engineering Design/Software communication lists. - Contribution during internal meetings with other engineering departments / sourcing to finalize cost out and standardization productivity program. - Issue & Manage Control system related technical documentation as & when required. - As & when required provide Technical assistance during Factory Acceptance Tests, Commissioning as well as support Field Service department.- Supporting Vendor Evaluation as & when required. Qualifications/Requirements BE/B-Tech Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering. - 2-5 years work experience in Gas turbine/ Compressor Controls either in engineering/maintenance/field service- Good working Knowledge with respect to Control systems and field instruments. - Good hands-on Knowledge of P&ID interpretation & Various interfaces with third party systems.- Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.- Strong analytic and problem solving skills. - Good interpersonal & organizational skills. - Ability to work autonomously and take decisions. - Ability to be an effective Contributor of multi cultural Teams. Desired Characteristics -Good Written and oral communication is must.
  • Familiarity with O&G products.- Hands-on experience with GE Mark* TM Product Control code development & Cimplicity HMI
