May perform one or more of the following:
"3-5 years of experience in use of Scheduling tools (Windows Scheduler, netbackup schedulers, Active Batch)
Remote monitoring and support for computer jobs/processes running on Windows servers located in Toronto, London, and Singapore. The jobs primarily involve accessing data stored on Oracle or MS SQL Server databases by utilizing tools such as schedulers and ActiveBatch. Three shifts will be scheduled to provide 24x5 coverage with the normal working hours to be announced (40 hours per week).
o Monitor automated jobs and intervene as required
o Work with production support manager to investigate job incidents
o Run jobs based on specific events
o Maintain operations logs
o Review accuracy of pending automated jobs
o Provide statistics and reporting on job activity
o Create and maintain computer jobs using various tools and custom applications
o Create and update supporting documentation for jobs
o Validate data interfaces by running jobs in test environment"
