Build up and provide a strong leadership to the Hydropower team in India
Developing and submitting proposals including the development of project concepts and methodologies.
Management of design works and providing technical expertise on hydropower projects
Engage, hands-on, in the technical execution of client assignments through to successful project completion.
Business Development, Project Delivery including management of resources, quality of deliverables and risk management and financial performance (profitable growth) of the hydropower business in India
Key Competencies:
Srong technical skills in hydropower, developed within a professional services environment, ideally with consulting engineering experience.having a keen business acumen coupled with business development experience
Exceptional client care and service delivery skills.
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills with a dedication to developing lasting client partnerships
An energetic and enthusiastic leader and mentor driven by diverse and challenging projects, with an ability to recognize and develop talent.
Proven strengths in becoming well integrated within a multidisciplinary environment and collaborating in a team environment to develop, execute and achieve strategic and operational plans.
Comfort with a corporate structure and the associated administrative and reporting requirements (e.g., quality management, health and safety, SOX reporting, etc.).
Qualifications:
Civil Engineering degree from a recognized university and 20 + years of experience as a consulting / design engineer in the hydropower/dam industry
Experience building and managing a technical design team required
Proven record of strategizing and winning hydropower or dam projects in India
Existing network of contacts within the industry in India
Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations.
