management capabilities in a specific area of responsibility with an aim to create market share growth,
customer satisfaction and profitable operations."
Description of the major duties performed in this job.
- Monitors parts sales on a monthly basis to ensure achievement of budgeted sales goals.
- Solicits dealer/distributor orders and promotes dealer participation in sales incentive programs and processes.
- Implements centrally developed parts and service marketing / promotion programs.
- Analyses parts order status by dealer and advises on best practices.
- Tracks and reports the activities of competitive / spurious / 'Will-fit' parts manufacturers in the after-market.
- Aids in the development of specific material as and when required for local area level promotion.
- Trains and assists dealer personnel with electronic ordering and information systems to maintain a high level of support to customers.
- Participates in initiatives aimed to improve the business of the Parts Department.
- Provides information and analysis to corporate for the development of new parts/kits to grow the aftermarket business.
- Maintains open communication with channel partner principles, their parts managers and Company field representatives on all parts related issues.
- Uses Value Selling techniques to promote the sale of products."
Qualifications
Experience in Agri industry - 3 years
Exposure to parts Marketing - 2 years
Knowledge of parts Industry
People Management skills
Coordination skills
Exposure to Parts Marketing in Tractor Industry - 2 years
Business & selling skills
BE/B.tech/MBA
