Description of the major duties performed in this job.
Monitors parts sales on a monthly basis to ensure achievement of budgeted sales goals.
Solicits dealer/distributor orders and promotes dealer participation in sales incentive programs and processes.
Implements centrally developed parts and service marketing / promotion programs.
Analyses parts order status by dealer and advises on best practices.
Tracks and reports the activities of competitive / spurious / 'Will-fit' parts manufacturers in the after-market.
Aids in the development of specific material as and when required for local area level promotion.
Trains and assists dealer personnel with electronic ordering and information systems to maintain a high level of support to customers.
Participates in initiatives aimed to improve the business of the Parts Department.
Provides information and analysis to corporate for the development of new parts/kits to grow the aftermarket business.
Maintains open communication with channel partner principles, their parts managers and Company field representatives on all parts related issues.
Uses Value Selling techniques to promote the sale of products."
