Responsible for maintaining, upgrading , patching and the ongoing administration and maintenance of all windows and some Linux servers

Responsible for VMware administrations, management and support

Responsible for monitoring all corp and production networks, servers, and applications.

Develop and promote standard operating procedures

Upgrades, installs and troubleshoots networks, networking hardware devices, software, and operating systems

Develop and maintain a comprehensive database/library of all supporting documentation of Windows infrastructure servers, systems and applications

Administer all Backup systems, tape rotation, and ensure all disaster recovery systems are up to date

Keep up with daily tasks and production requests, creating users, managing web and FTP sites, antivirus, security scans, IDS monitoring,

Provide on-call 24/7 operation support and weekend maintenance on rotation basis

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Management or related field preferred

Experience in IIS 6.0 required

Candidate should have Backup Software Experience

Experience in a 24x7 Datacentre would be an advantage

6+ years of Windows 2003/2008, Exchange 2007/2010 and Active Directory support experience

6+ years experience in VMware ESX/ESXi 3.5/4.0/4.1

6+ years experience with application packaging and OS deployment tools

6+ years experience in Windows OS performance tuning, trending, and analysis

6+ years experience is Server hardware and software installation

6+ years Network, applications & OS security, including virus scan management

6+ years experience working with backup solutions

3+ years experience in monitoring software such as SiteScope, Nagios, and Cacti.

3+ years experience MS SQL server clusters

3+ years experience in SharePoint deployment, maintenance and management

3+ years experience automating tasks with scripting (Perl, VB, PowerShell) and GPO

3+ years Network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP), network security(IDS/firewalls), name services, load balancing, switching, and routing

Microsoft Certification preferred

CCNA or CCNP certification is a plus

Netapp storage experience a plus

Ability to follow directions, both verbal and written**

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs

Some early day / late night and weekend work will be required

Must be available during emergency situations
