This role will involve working within a CG production in order to analyze, support and implement workflow solutions that will improve the efficiency of the production pipeline. Working directly with artists in order to help fix and improve their workflow. It also involves support and development of the existing production pipeline code base largely written in Perl. This position reports to the Pipeline Lead and the Department Manager.

Required Skills:
BS or MS is Computer Science or equivalent.

Solid understanding of Computer Graphics and associated software.

Strong scripting language experience (eg. Perl, Python).

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Excellent documentation skills.

Strong Linux/Unix skills.

Desired Skills:
5+ years experience in software development

C, C++ or Java programming experience
