Candidate would be responsible to handle following placement related activities of all the business verticals in the School: To charter and implement innovative and creative placement techniques , in line with the business objectives of the Company in order to ensure the placement of trainees in the suitable industries., Overall market mapping to gauge the demand of skills requirement in various sectors ( apparel/ leather / engineering/ service/ auto) , and identifying prospective employers, for placements of trainees to create an efficient & feasible model for effective placements., Establish strong relationship and close coordination with the HR and other relevant sources of the industries to : Making corporate presentations to create awareness about all placement linked skill programs of the school., Understanding the recruitment strategies of the companies, to unleash the opportunity of linking the training programs to recruitment opportunities within these companies. Getting inputs from industries on the relevance of the curriculum , to give timely and regular feedback to the Course content team, Master Trainer and the Head about the industry preferences , demands about the course contents, and thereby suggesting necessary improvements ensuing effective and maximum placement of trainees. Assess employer’s satisfaction with respect to performance of the trainees and taking corrective measures if required., Understanding reasons(if any) for low placement ratio , attrition/ absenteeism, and take corrective measures to make the process effective., To act as the central point of contact between the students and the placement partners to ensure smooth flow of placement activities, including obtaining pre placement letters , coordinating for lodging & boarding issues in case of migration of students, accompanying them from their origin to destination to ensure the smooth coordination, and to act as mentor for the migrant batches for the initial settlement period, maintenance of all Placement Records etc., Providing counseling to the students in regard to Pre-placement Orientation in resume building, job seeking techniques, developing skills for appearing in interviews, and other areas essential to gain successful employment., Compiling and updating relevant reports on timely basis that measures the success of students in obtaining employment in their interest areas , capturing the position title, and salary information etc. Preparing other reports as assigned from time to time and using reports to market the programs to industries.
minimum of 5 yrs of experience of working in diverse industries in the Placement / Public Relations function., Candidate having experience in marketing of education/training programs will be given preference
