Job Description
Purpose
Work closely with practice heads, the front-line sales force, and the delivery team to develop solutions, propositions, offerings, proof of concepts, frameworks relating to Policy Administration and Claims in Life & Annuities and P&C.
Responsibilities
1) Work under the supervision of the practice leads to create offerings, solutions, propositions in Life and non-Life areas
2) Draft high-quality responses to RFPs’ / RFI’s, while working with multi-cultural, multi-service line, cross-geo teams
3) Interact with and influencing business stakeholders during pre-sale period
4) Interact with and influence business stakeholders during post-sale period for requirements gathering, analysis, documentation etc.
5) Interacting with technical teams to ensure that the requirements are clear and well understood
6) Translating business requirement document to software requirement specifications
7) Review Test strategy & test specifications, assist in Functional testing and provide UAT support
8) Deliver presentations to prospects & customers etc.
9) Participate in estimation and solution design activities
10) Acquire insight into new industry regulations, write white papers, concept papers and industry publications
11) Participate in organization’s training, interview and knowledge initiatives
Competencies
1) Around 8-14 years’ experience in enterprise software applications
2) Proven hands-on experience in design, development, deployment of insurance core & surround applications
3) Experience in client interfacing w.r.t transformation consulting, requirements definition & applications deployment
4) In-depth knowledge of at least one insurance business area (Life or Non-Life) with experience in an associated area (Life or Non-Life or Reinsurance or Broking)
5) Hands-on knowledge & understanding w.r.t complete insurance value chain including Sales & Marketing, Distribution & Agency Management, New Business, Underwriting, Policy administration, Billing, and Claims
6) Experience in Insurance product / IP development as well as systems integration & IT services business
7) Experience of working with partner’s and growing competency centre’s on partner products
8) Client-facing work experience in at least 2 major insurance markets - North America, UK, Europe, Japan, APAC
9) Proven capabilities in recruiting, ramping up, mentoring & leading a group of business consultants and design teams
10) Capabilities in client-facing delivery & product road-map development situations
11) Good academic credentials preferred
