Responsibilities:
Project Responsibilities:
The Service Director will work closely with other Service Delivery Managers to ensure that resources are effectively scheduled and that productivity and predictability are maximized.
Exhibit extensive experience about the new technology trends prevalent in the market like Cloud Computing, Hosting and SOA for optimizing business to improve revenue and reduce costs.
There will also be close involvement with Project Managers, Sales and the Regional Services Managers to resolve any conflicts. Utilizing effective ‘change control practices’ to manage scope, customer expectations, timelines and budgets.
Define & implement escalation process for improved customer satisfaction. Capable of managing crisis and handling pressure situation;
Owning the complete delivery of multiple, large programs within defined SLA. Adapt well in a fast-paced growing environment.
Work with clients to make these client organizations more productive with Kronos Solutions.
Pro-actively assist with the deployment of resources to challenging billable assignments in emerging technologies as well as training other resources in the same to maximize the revenue earning capacity of the organisation.
May have some financial responsibilities including project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoicing. May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities.

Team Handling/ People Management Responsibilities:
Owns the overall performance management of each Manager in the team – including providing frequent performance feedback & guidance and conducting formal annual and midyear focal reviews
Sets, communicates, and monitors performance & development goals and achievements on an on-going basis for self and reportees
Lead people demonstrating exceptional people handling skills, including, conflict resolution, team motivation, and people development.
Ensuring that skills are continuously evolving to meet the needs of the business. The measure of success is a balance of employee satisfaction and business contribution from the team.

Organisational Responsibilities:
Contributes in application of knowledge to practical issues in related assignments or projects.
The Head will create and implement operational excellence into the process of all consulting engagements that flow throughout the practice.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
BE / B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology or Master of Computer Applications (MCA)/ M Tech (Computer Science) preferred
20 years of relevant industry experience
Application development tools (including workstation operating systems Software specifications and design techniques.

Desired Candidate:

Project management experience in both business process and technology implementations
Strong Leadership & customer relationship skills and drive things within and outside the system.
Should be able to provide a creative approach to problem-solving and program management in general
Must have experience of working with tight deadlines, handling escalations and managing tough clients
Strong business analysis skills and logical mindset
Experience in very large scale implementation of multi-technology solution
Must have several years of increasingly responsible project management experience, managing large teams, resource management, status reporting, issue management, change control, etc.
Demonstrated leadership in managing a large team (across 50 people across locations) with substantial experience working with large US or multinational organization.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Ability to demonstrate patience in stressful situations, learning to recognize & manage other’s emotional reactions and striving to remain optimistic, even under adversity.
