Job Description: Skills required: Good understanding of testing methodologies. Candidate should be able to understand product level architecture and provide comprehensive test strategies & guidance for team. Telecom/ Datacom product testing Managing small or medium sized teams Interaction with cross-functional teams (like Development, Hardware, Marketing, Customer Teams etc). Developing & executing complex system level test plans Developing automated test plans using TCL/iTest. Providing technical support to the teams and mentoring/training the new team members. Technical Skills: Good Understanding and hands on expertise on L2/L3 Protocols/Technology (VLAN, STP/RSTP, LAG/LACP, IGMP, IGMP Snooping, QOS, RADIUS/TACACS+, QoS, IP Routing, ARP, RIP, OSPF etc. Good Understanding and hands on expertise on IP DSLAM products/technology ( MEF, EVC, EVC-MAP, EFM-Group, PPP, MLPPP, ATM, Frame Relay, ADSL, VDSL GPON, Active Ethernet, Triple Play testing etc Good debugging skills. Ability to debug complex system-level issues. Exposure to product life cycle and tools. Tools and languages: Exposure to test tools like IXIA/N2X, Spirent Test centre etc Strong Automation hands on experience using TCL or iTest In Addition: Excellent verbal/written communication skills, Teamwork and interpersonal skills Interact with various functions and teams of the product. Experience & Education: BE/ B.Tech/ME/ M. Tech with 10+ yrs of Telecom related industry experience.
