- Supervise the daily construction at the site
- Direct the masons and the labour at the site
- Give instructions and supervise proportions of mixing at the site
- Prepare bar bending schedule
- Prepare measurement sheets
- Ensure quality of work and no wastage of material
- Conduct survey of sites with surveying instrument like theodolite and dumpy level
