Brand name is good but they wont worth it.Annual Increment and promotion is very very low.Work culture is not that good.Specially in kalinganagar plant we have lost our hope for increment and promotion as a Maintenance Incharge
Intern Electrical Maintenance Department (Former Employee) – Tarapur, Maharashtra – October 28, 2017
The Employees of the company were very friendly. They used to teach me every minor thing that I am required to learn, learning for the huge furnace till a small billet rod. Working there was very helpful and I acquired a lot of knowledge regarding Steel plants. I would again like to work there if I get a chance to work.
Head (Current Employee) – Mumbai – October 1, 2017
The learning and process & systems are great! The career advancements are very limited and the compensation is along with the market. The relocation processes are good. The internal variety in culture is tremendous and one must carefully look at the unit and place where one joins.
Internship (Former Employee) – Jamshedpur, Jharkhand – September 30, 2017
Did a survey on how the Hot Strip Mills work, the production rate, the effect of wear on table rolls and how it affects the unit as a whole. The hot rolling process was studied in depth with apt coverage of steel billet manufacturing
Good I enjoyed and gained more knowledge of accounting for an MNC organization like Tata Steel Ltd.Working culture is healthy person's involved in the section and process are very helpful in working area's. Overall if you ask its steadily helps in growing individuals like us. The chances of gaining opportunities and scopes for higher hierarchy is too slow and from learning side its always a good platform for the startups and few year's of experience individuals like me.
