Target is a fun and friendly place to work with.

I was basically looking for the job openings in Tesco as i completed MBA and when i got the opportunity in Target since it is a retail company i entered as it will be easy for me to enter into Tesco.

-- Request send by the Mpls team from Us for profiles and building
sales history model all on the same day within 2 hours.

A typical day at work can have a range of responsibilities including cashiering, restocking, setting planograms, preparing re-shops, helping our guests, resetting our salesfloor for the next business day, and even directing all incoming phone calls while monitoring our fitting room. I have learned how to multi-task to complete many projects, how to – more... work in large groups to complete large projects and how to interact with respectfully with co-workers in a large scale environment. My management is decent most work hard for there dedicated areas, however many managers do not know much about areas of the store that are not directly related to their areas. The co-workers in my area are mostly young college aged students and recent high school graduates so it can be difficult to relate at times however they are all very nice girls. The hardest part of my job is not being able to control issues that arise is our area, when I am not there. The most enjoyable part of this job is helping guests and seeing how truly grateful they are for great customer service. – less

I enjoyed working at Target, because it was a fast paced environment. They crossed trained me in all departments so I was constantly helping out everywhere. I enjoyed working with everyone and I got along with everyone. The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to float and work in different departments and help out where was needed.

A typical day at work requires carful attention to the merchandise. I have learned how to cope with conflict within group settings. The management is very open to team members. If a conflict does arise, there are a multitude of people to speak with in order to resolve it.

working nights is faster then working day shift all it is stocking.

Mostly, at Target, approach is everything. If your not going to walk up to the guest then I recommend walking out of the store for someone else to replace you.

It was a job to make it through school. I learned to work with the public and work as a team.

Every job they can give you is easy. However, the management at my store needs improvement. One in particular tends to place blame on whoever he feels could have been the one responsible for something without ever even trying to investigate.

Target has taught me a lot of leadership skill and how to build on those skills.

Absolutely loved working there. Very clean friendly store and group of people. Days were fast, fun, and friendly. I had proper training to complete my tasks. Our managers were awesome and so was my co- workers.
