Pros: birthday lunch, great people, meaningful work
Cons: no training, have to learn everything yourself, prone to mistakes, long hours, terrible operations manager, unjustifiable pay, use your personal vehicle for deliveries
I really enjoyed working for the operations team at Stryker. However, there is no job security being a temporary employee and I remained one for 9 months. I was very dedicated, honest, and hard-working employee with a strong drive to succeed.

You're much better off not being a full time Stryker person. While there are careers to be had there, the overall culture is very poor. A perfect example of why we should all question articles that tout "best of" anything. Very few Stryker employees I have spoken to recommend it as a place to work. Even more shocking is that they would use a competitors implant on themselves as opposed to a Stryker implant!

you, you are treated like an outsider. I have been to HR several times. They don't care. I am ignored and treated like a total intruder. The main idea is that if they ignore me long enough I'll go away. Most do. That is why there is such a huge turn over. For personal/medical reasons I can't just change jobs, so I'm stuck being abused. It amazes me that people who work in a medical company have no compassion or empathy for somene with medical problems. To them, if you aren't part of the cool clique you obviously cannot perform.
