Too much responsibility for the wage. Learned new till/cash handling techniques. Management o.k. Some co workers ok, Hardest part of job is dealing with some of the public. Most enjoyable is that it is only part time.

Love the customers and they also love me. I have learned a lot about the company as an whole.

Great opportunity and good relationship with top management. Lots of awards and rewards.

Learned the different certificates that is required by the fire marshalls at the Gas stations to keep them running

People easy going and every other Friday ur off to do whatever u need to get done, u make time during the week by going hour early and stay hour later

*I used to work overnight shift(11pm-9am) everyday except Friday night to Saturday morning and Saturday night to Sunday morning.
* I learnt sales, customer service, operating cash register and stocking items.
* I had good manager and mentor there.
* Working five days out of the seven in the week was the hardest part of the job as well as the customers – more...  were not friendly.

My typical day at work would be basically keeping up with the inventory of 65 oil tanks ranging from 20,000 barrels to 366,000 barrels.

Enjoyed my tenure at Shell. I worked with good people, and I got to experience things I might not have done, otherwise. The Employees Club offered great discounts on travel, merchandise, Bus Passes, and other miscellaneous stuff. I received great training to enhance my skills.

I loved working with the customers, I was well organized, and I enjoyed working on the team.

Shell was a good company to work for benefit wise, Well capitalized ,they just did'nt make the employees feel secure. Training was poor and inadequate, they took over my unit from Texaco and cleaned house on all texaco employees. increase their work load and did nothing to support them.

I really loved working at Shell because I love working with the public. Its interesting meeting all of the different customers that come in and getting to know the regulars.

A typical day was staying busy, I learned a new system, Management was great to work for. Co-workers were very young and had to have lots of patients. I didn't find anything hard about this job. I enjoyed meeting new people.

A great place to work. Leadership development is a plus. Management ability to articulate expectations.

I was not impressed by the managerial skills of my boss, nor was I impressed by the lack of care for employee's.

Shell was a good job, co-workers were good to work with in the passing, there was never more than one person working on a shift unless you were training. Fairly easy to move up within the company. Management was good most of the time.

Nice place to be able to meet new people and get good with handling large amounts of money. Management played favorites with her employees but that was easily avoided.

A typical day at work would be cashiering all day long. I learned that there are different types of people that come into the store. Management was different than any other job that I had. Company has good benefits. Company will advance employees before hiring outside of the company.

Decisions are made slowly, not very effective, that's usually the company style. The department where I worked tried focusing on establishing fair hiring practices. Overall, the pay is fair, the company is a safe friendly place to work.

Productive and fast pace environment, learned all aspect of supply chain functional expertise in Master Data, supportive management, great team to work for. Unable to touch all groups with training materials that were need for a more productive work environment. Enjoy working with all groups within and outside of Shell.

nice place to work. awesome learning environmenst provided by the employees on the floor. not so much by management. earning potential is great during peak seasons but you are left standing in position for a very long time.
