Fun place to work. Never a dull moment.
PROJECT COORDINATOR (Former Employee), Smyrna, GA –
Pros: smoke free work place as well as health conscious
Cons: poor training programs as well as poor management.
A typical work day for me was everything is a priority, due to patient safety. I learned that the company made a lot of promises to vendors that they could not keep up with and when you look for help from managers they pass the buck. My co-workers were under a lot of stress. The hardest part of the job was trying to get 15 hours of work done in 8 hours. – more...  I enjoyed the team building excercises the most. – less

Quintiles Experiences
Clinical Research Technician I (Current Employee), Overland Park, KS –
Pros: working with night nurses and techs
Cons: lunch breaks, overtime, and management
* a typical day at work is that it is busy and you will learn something everyday so you have to be quick on your feet becasue management expect you to get or there will be consequences. therefore it can become very stressful on a typical day at Quintiles.

* it depends on the sponsors. they all have a different style of how they want their equipment – more...  to be use. everyday is a learning process which is good sometimes because it would be beneficial for whatever company i share my experience at.

* management here becomes has it's up and downs. Most of the time you can not speak to someone form management without everyone knowing what the both of you was talking about. they are not for their staff. they do not appreicate what we do to help make us the team that we are to keep the company going.

* I work overnight, so the staff is great. we all get along and we help each where help is needed.

* is management, we do not have any consistencies with our duties of work. they expect us not to make a mistake but when they make last mintues decision it is bound to happen.

* is working overnight and being the tech that the volunteers need. making sure that things are in order for the volunteers and ready to help them in the best way i can. – less
