sales executive (Former Employee), Ballia, up – January 3, 2013
Pros: allowance and sometimes free launches
Cons: long hours
I have learned a lot while working in the particular company. I learned how to convince people to buy the products, What is the management, how to make a friendly environment around yourself, sometimes it seemed hard but I enjoyed my job, The most enjoyable part of the job was to interact with people who are having their different and unique personalities – more... and according to their behavior, I had to convince them. It was really interesting to do for me. – less

Pepsi is in short 'a learning school'
Trade Marketing Manager (Former Employee), Saudi arabia - Riyadh – December 6, 2012
Pros: remunération
Cons: long hours
As every one knows, PEPSICO is one of the leading MNC in the world. One can expect all MN experiance in the company like, learning, career path, work culture, pressure and monetary benefits.
Normally, there is no 'bossism' in the company as everybody immerse in their own work.
I learned a alot from the company like the 360 degree visiility in the market – more... place, consumer shopping pattern, management skills, profitability drives, product rationalization are some of the examples.
Co-workers are normally cooperative and ready to help each other.
The hardest part of the job is 'time' limit. All projects are restricted time bounded jobs and you have to be on your toes to deliver the job on time.
The most enjoyable part of the job is team building programmes. – less

Dedicated employees and family environment.
Help Desk Analyst (Former Employee), Plano, TX – June 15, 2013
Pros: frito-lay provided us with all the snacks we could eat. i burned myself out or cheetos.
Cons: in such a fast paced environment, two 15 minute breaks never seem like enough to catch your breath.
Fast paced, busy from start to finish. I learned to understand different cultures and abilities from a diverse workforce and customer base. Made for interesting work, every day was fun and challenging. Management was fare and strived for a health work life balance for all employees. Hardest part of job would be when it came time to go home, I was usually – more... in the middle of a complicated call and would stay until the issue had been resolved to the customer's satisfaction, even though it meant I would be working later than my scheduled end of shift. Most enjoyable was sometimes the hardest. I really enhoyed being able to help someone get back to being productive. These people were always so grateful to have their issues resolved and able to get back to work so quickly. – less

Transportation Analyst
Transportation Analyst (Former Employee), Plano, TX – June 14, 2013
Pros: pepsico supplied professional chefs for lunchs
Cons: the job didn't last long enough
Provided project support for several PepsiCo Managers. Manually created, maintained and distributed the Integrated Network Daily Scorecard Report daily. Used Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access to collect queries, analyze, evaluate, and prepare information for Frito and Quaker Trip Build reporting. Prepare reports and reccendations regarding deliverables – more... and task progression ongoing; participated in the analysis and interpretation of data as appropriate. The co-workers at PepsiCo were fantastic to work with. I was able to learn a position at PepsiCo I had never done before. The hardest part of the job was when the system was down. The company would let you pick your own hours as long as you got the job done. This position was two year temporary job and was sadden when the assignment ended – less

Merchandiser/ Account Representative (Current Employee), Philadelphia, PA – June 13, 2013
Pros: freedom, plenty of down time
Cons: heavy lifting health care
Start of the day at your first account, you sign in to your iphone (timecard), you service account as instructed and get properly signed out and head to your next account.
When you manage your time correctly your day will go very smoothly.
Management and co workers get along rather well, everyone sticks to the were a team mentality.
hardest part of – more... the job is the physical labor, pulling 2500 lb pallets around can tire you out
most enjoyable part would be knowing that everyone needs to have fluids so I say job security – less

Fortune 500 Company
Sales Representative (Former Employee), San Diego, CA – June 12, 2013
Pros: fotune 500 company
Cons: hours, politics, work life balance
Management asks way to much for a days work. Long 12 hour days are at lease twice a week. Days start at 6:00am in the field each day and often don't end until 6:00pm. Too many politics and too long to actually have a chance to become a manager. Many people have been there for years and college degrees are not required.

Very productive fast pace job
Bulk Sales Representative (Former Employee), Ventura, CA – June 12, 2013
Pros: if you work hard and pay attention to detail you walk away with a sense of accomplishment.
Cons: the pay was a bit low considering how much hard work has to be done day in and day out alone.
A typical day of work would be to take inventory of the the point of sale locations from the previous sale day and restock or create an order for that customer/store and communicate with the store manager and receiver about inventory to come in or any point of sale changes.

Exhausting Work
Bulk Customer Representative (Former Employee), St. Louis, MO – June 11, 2013
Pros: no one looking over your shoulder. you can plan your day and route for what works best for you.
Cons: getting screwed on raises. killing your shoulder muscles.
I am a Bulk Account Rep. I have a route of 5 stores I do. One of them is a Wal-Mart (they are annoying). I order the product for the stores, and put it all out at each store. It's hard on my shoulders and wrists. Plus, as a "salesmen" I have to sell new stuff in all the time and change displays.... ready for something new!!
