  • “In August, Hurricane Harvey flooded Houston, TX and the surrounding areas. This natural disaster hit too close to home. I support the Houston market in my day to day and I felt the need to help in any way I could. So, I started a donation drive at our West Regional Operations Center in Arlington, TX. We donated in total about 20 large boxes, which consisted of non- perishable items, infant products, clothes and more. I distributed these items at the Trusted World Distribution Center, Goodwill, and some other organizations that were directly in Houston.   • Week 1 has wrapped up for Nielsen volunteers in Houston! Keep following us this week to see more photos and stories from Week 2, when a new group of volunteers work in Houston with @allhandsandhearts. One associate reflected on his experience last week: "A mother, an infant, a toddler, and three dogs call this trailer 'home.' It has no floor or drywall due to water damage, and it sits on concrete blocks with a three-foot drop to the ground. This week, we finished gutting, cleaning and sealing the trailer using tarp material. It will be months until this house can truly become a home again.
