fun co-workers
Crew/ Crew Trainer (Current Employee), Parkland –
Pros: they work with your schedules
Cons: the pay is not that great
Fun place to work. Could be stressful at times. Money wise is not that great for all the work that has to be done. The shifts are good because they work with your schedule. I'm just looking for better opportunities with better pay somewhere else.

The environment was awesome!
Crew Trainer (Former Employee), Maplewood, MN –
A typical day at work is either making food or cooking patties. What I have learned from working at McDonald's is multitasking and being persistent. I would say that management was pretty supportive; when help was needed they were there to help. My co-workers were the ones that kept me going everyday. The hardest part of the job is taking care of big – more...  orders, such as 100 hamburgers or twenty mcdoubles. The most enjoyable part of the job is seeing a smile on every child that comes by to buy a happy meal. – less

I don't like working at McDonald's.
Crew Member (Current Employee), Detroit, MI –
Pros: a lunch discount.
Cons: short breaks or no breaks at all and no benifits.
I typical day at working is too fast paced. I learned how to work the cash register. The management needs improvement. My co-workers are easy to get along with but not to be trusted. The hardest part of the job is trying to keep up eith many orders. There's nothing enjoyable about this job.

Pros: employees discount schemes
Cons: egos, popularity not skills rewarded.
Typical day, clocking in, find out area to be worked, check stock levels, check with floor manager regarding any shortages/equipment issues, check projected sales & identify busy periods and times which secondary duties can be performed.
End of shift, check stock/cleanliness ready for handover to next shift. File any paperwork filled during the shift.

I have previous work experience in a very customer facing job at McDonalds restaurant where I worked part time for around 10 months. In this job I learnt many skills such as; valuable people skills, cash handling, customer interaction, team building and leadership, how to work under pressure and how to overcome problems in a work place and fix them.
