The hardest part of my job was to get people to understand that regardless of the products that a business produces, the Lean tools still apply. What has to be highlighted however is that just like Toyota, each business has customers, processes, equipment, people and suppliers. I loved this job because it is in the same filed area of what I go to school for.

i always looking forward to go to work everday at honeywell ,people are very friendly,helpful,very experience,family oriented,organiced,they help you if you have an emergency,you communicate with manager,human resource and the upper management, and they are very helpful.

Happy to be employed. Management at my site does not know how to manage. They are passive/reactive and only delegate. That's fine, but those who do know how to get the job done, produce results are not properly compensated or advanced in their careers. I've seen failure get rewarded. I've seen job movers (within Honeywell) be rewarded. I HAVEN'T seen – more...  success get rewarded as the CEO would suggest.

Company is very stock market oriented and are NOT interested in employees satisfaction or success. Employees are under appreciated and moral continues to erode at an increased pace. There is a trend to split jobs across multiple sites. Anything to cut costs without regard for an employees life changes. Example, position was split with our site and a site 2+ hrs away. Person was required 2 days per week to split time there AND no hotel was provided. This type of change is increasing. Be prepared. – less

I liked working here, except for their lay-offs. Co-workers were great.
Hardest part of the job was the heat in the summer time.

Specialty chemicals HQ in morristown, NJ is a great work environment. Smart coworkers with a team attitude. Should have stayed here!

I loved working for Honeywell,unfortunately for us they outsourced all of their OEM jobs to Mexico and the Czech Republic.

I started my career in computers at this company testing circuit boards and soon ended up in advanced manufacturing and then Hardware Quality Assurance. I stayed a little over 16 years. I would probably still be there if they hadn't decided to effectively get out of computers. I still keep in touch with people I worked with there.

Working for Honeywell was a great experience. Got to work with great people and I loved my job. Enjoyed training new people, and learned so much from management.
I was a team player and willing to learn different skills.

Honeywell was a pleasant place to work for. I would love to go back there and work if they would hire me Full Time.

Fine & Great Experience about the Building Automation.
Worked as a Project Engineer. Responsible for design, installation, progress and commissioning of complete HVAC system and Integrated Building management system. Preparation of coordination drawings and coordinating with other services like electrical, plumbing, furnishing.

Work can start as early as 6am to 3pm or 9am to 6pm.
I learned how to work with electrical equipment much like an electrician.
Management is ok.
Co-workers is much like any other place.
The most enjoyable part of the job is working outside and enjoying nature.

I am very happy with HTSI, I only am seeking a part time or temp position. I have no intentions of leaving Honeywell at this time. I rank it as one of the best if not the best employer I have worked for.

Honeywell is a company Focused on quality which I believe will keep the organization afloat in these economic times. I enjoyed working for them and wished I still had a job there, But because of the economic needs of the company, they transitioned the area that I was under overseas.
