Eaton is good place to work, one gets lot of new learning opportunities. They focus on one's personal and professional growth in terms of learning and monetary. Eaton focuses on employee's work life balance by organising several training programme.
Open & Transparent Work culture. However, career growth is very slow. Minimum promotion waiting period will be 3- 5yrs. Initial offering salary can be good but after that, no market correction & increment could not happening on time. Hydraulic group in state of loss of profit.
Travel & canteen benefits are exterminate
long working hours, no work life balance, no guidance from managers, Managers are always confused about what they need from their subordinates. Very slow growth.
Functional Analyst (Former Employee) – Chennai – March 14, 2017
Ample scope for soft skill learning, and allows for moving within the organization on different opportunities. Has a more or less balanced work-life culture. Offers opportunities, but limited. Culture is largely secure, but vulnerable like any other MNC to layoffs on top-level changes.
Eaton is an excellent organisation to work for. With its diversified portfolio it gives an employee the exposure to a lot of segments. As a finance business partner, I got lot of knowledge on the technology, business, life cycle of the projects etc. Eaton focuses a lot on diversity & ethics which indeed keeps the workplace healthy. Eaton's collaborative working style is commendable. It helps the employees to keep work life balance.
