The pay and benefits were very good. They are slow to hire the necessary workforce due to fears of another recession.

In this job I was the secretary to the sales force and also inside sales representation. Sold hydraulic hose and couplings. Interacted with clients internationally and locally. Did all of the computer processing at the end of the day transmitting data of all of our inventory sold for the day. Got a lot experience in this position and was my favorite job because it was a personal fulfillment. Eaton is a great company to work for. Production is required daily. There was always opportunity to learn a different job.

nice air conditioned work place, unless you work in heat treat. the pay is great for what you do. easy work.

Ho lavorato presso la Eaton di Bosconero (TO) in qualità di collaudatrice valvole sia automobilistiche che camionistiche. Per circa tre anni ho lavorato su un centro sprovvisto di telecamere dove eseguivo il controllo delle valvole ad occhio nudo. Per il restante periodo ho lavorato su di un centro con telecamere. Tre turni di lavoro a ciclo continuo.

Good people to work with and good benifits. Had to do something different everyday, I never knew what I was going to have to fix. That is what I liked about my job.

Worked with manufacturing departments to review processes and advise production personnel on how to handle issues that affected manufacturing systems.
Developed and implemented the Physical Inventory process, KanBan System, and Automated Manufacturing Order system process.

At the start of the of the job, the co-workers wanted to help with training and taking you on jobs to expand your skill. Eaton is a good place to work they reward us a lot, i have learned different jobs and don't work on the same job everyday so we dont get bored. Some of the management is alright, but some lie and break policy which i don't agree with, they work a lot of overtime which i like but everybody needs time to spend with your family and you don't get hardly – more...  any of that. The management team at this company was the worst, they didn't care how bad the day was or how anything or anybody was doing, all that matter to them was can you work or can you stay over and cover this job, i didn't care about doing the job, i just wish that they showed more concern for the people who was working for them...

Ive learned how patience works. Having to repeat a process over and over. Ive also learned alot about following a job traveler on how to do things or build things according to what is posted on paper.

During a typical day at work I would sign-in and then head to my desk where I would organize microsoft excel spreadsheets. I also organized a large number of sales reciepts for industrial parts. I learned alot about how and why the government is outsourcing jobs thanks to one of my coworkers. I am a lead in the Inventory Control department at Eaton. I am responsible for all aspects of inventory at Eaton Corpration.I have learned a lot about Inventory Control and Logistics. I thought the facility I worked at should have had more proceedural disciplines in the overall workforce. Too get promoted you really had to brown nose. Very cliquish. Every thing was geared toward end of the month bottom line. Management was always very negative toward plant productivity (read pathetic raises unless you were the chosen). Eaton Corporation was an assembly line type of job, except that we not only made the parts we tested them to make sure they functioned properly. Teams were six to ten people depending on the part being made. We all changed jobs every hour so no one got to bored doing the same job all the time.

Friendly and supportive management, good benefits, and a very team oriented environment.

Good company for anyone looking for team focus that also helps community.
