MNC's treat Indian employees like dogs.
Management is Biased and political.
Unrealistic expectations.
Employees are treated based on which consultant has hired them.
Annual party for permanent employees only. Rest Consultant has to org party for their respective employees hired.
You feel like an adopted child if u are not a permanent employee.

The career at this place is very challenging, you get to learn end to end processes in investment banking operations. As their business is very competitive you will have to forget about your personal life.

Fund Accountant (Current Employee) –  Chennai, Tamil NaduSeptember 2, 2017
The day at BNP starts with reviewing the trade file and broker statement sent by client and book the same in the fund. Go for end to end reconciliations process of stock, cash, derivatives, and TA, and CFD. Launch the fund after various reconciliations are done to calculate the Net Asset Value of the fund.

I learned end to end NAV calculation including booking of trades, margins, reconciliations, and finally calculate NAV.

At BNP Paribas we work on the basis of deadlines. I use to perform end to end reconciliations of around 150 funds. We have deadlines every half and hour which is quite challenging.

I learned to manage time and handle pressure situations. I successfully migrate 14 major clients to end to end reconciliations process.

I have the ability and skills to deliver the funds on time with an exceptional quality,

I learned to process equity and hedge funds at BNP Paribas.

The NAV calculation part is the most enjoyable in the whole process.
Pros
Great Learning and ample knowledge gaining.
Cons
Stretching for Long Hours due to IT issues.

Sr. Engineer (Current Employee) –  Mumbai, MaharashtraAugust 15, 2017
The day at work for BNP Paribas is normal as well critical during some days. I learned a lot for User Management, Client Management, Project Management, Audit Management as well as Site Management. Management here is very cool & supportive. Work place culture is also good. Hardest part of job is work in contract role in same position even if completed 4 years in organization. Enjoyable part is work life balance is good here.
Cons
Working for last 4 years in contract role but not any chance to be permanent in organzation.
