Get ready to be stressed out.
Specialist (Current Employee), Atlanta, GA –
Pros: get a paycheck every other week.
Cons: short breaks, stressful, moral is very low, and over worked.
This company is more concerned about keeping the clients but not concerned about the health and welfare of the employees. Most of the employees are extremely exhausted because they are overworked and are not properly compensated for the hard work. I've experienced numerous racial comments even from upper management. If you like being stressed out and – more...  over worked, this is the place for you. – less

This review is from a long time ago before Hewitt Associates was taken over by Aon. The standards were very high. The professionals were of the highest quality. Benefits for employees were the highest anywhere, all paid for by the organization.

Not worth staying long term
Benefits Operations Manager (Current Employee), Norwalk, CT –
Pros: work schedule flexibility
Cons: compensation, lack of resources, little training, little advancement opportunity
Initial compenation is good for someone right out of college or without a college degree, however 0-2% raises are the norm for quality performers. Long hours and little praise/ recognition if you work on the CDG (Client Delivery Group). Get your experience here and move on after a year- as mentioned compensation is lacking and little to no room for – more...  advancement. – less

Customer Service Call Center
Senior Customer Service Associate (Former Employee), Lincolnshire, IL –
Pros: benefits
Cons: lack of income
I was one of the longest running members of what was, at the time, Hewitt/Aon's largest call center teams. I worked an 8am -5pm shift and handled calls that ranged in topic from Health Care and Dental benefits, to Pension, and FMLA processes.

While on this job I had a greater sense of team and support from my co-workers than I have had in any other – more...  position. It was towards the end that I became disillusioned with the monotony of the job and chose to leave with notice to pursue my training career. – less

Superior pay and benefits - no place to grow
RPO (Current Employee), Lincolshire, IL –
Pros: pay, benefits, working virtually
Cons: minimal recognition, no communication, no career growth
Great job, great team, and working virtually is fantastic but you are too removed to get recognition, receive accurate or timely communication, and there is no career growth. Groups of people are not engaged at all, only collecting a paycheck

A very friendly environment with a great bunch of employees who are always willing to help.
Human Resources Administrator (Current Employee), Hemel Hempstead –
Pros: great people, free lunch and closeby
Cons: lunch is on shift and shift patterns to the hours
The day goes really quick as it is very fast paced and always busy with tasks that needs completing that time just flies by before you know it. I have learnt various skills in terms of communcation, organisation, team wokring as well as using own initiative when needed which I belive will help me in the long run. The management team are great who always – more...  around to help and always with a smile on their faces. My team is great with various personalities in the team. The hardest part of the job is trying to get something done for an employee such as they need a visa letter but do not give us enough notice whereby we have to turn it around in such a short period of time. But its always fun to overcome the challeneges in order to provide the service to the employees. The most enjoyable part of the job, is knowing that I am contributing as part of the team and fulfiling employees needs. – less
