Incredible company but I have profile issue which is technical and I am from Finance background. All the nature of this company is excellent.

As I have already worked here for 6 months n so it has a very good brand name n it has a good facility.. all are cooperative in i. from d top management to d lower.

3. I came across a few co-workers, learned, enjoyed, supported and befriended them all!
4. Maintaining a healthy diet at times!
5. Meeting Business associate, talk about the company, I love a lot, American Express!

Some pressure and Long Hours of work but contribution is recognized, Good work atmosphere, etc. Very Slow Growth prospects and difficult lateral movement.

-Usage of various feeder system like Icarus, Oracle
-Generating various types of reports from Oracle GL and Essbase
-Hardest time during month end

Over all Its a decent organisation to work with , Its an organisation which works on its value no matter what the outcome will be .

Learned: Reconciliation, SOX compliance , Balance sheet reporting.
Management: Best part about American Express Management is Interaction. Free to interact with them and feel free to keep your point.

Co-workers: Unity, learned how to work in team.

Hardest Part of Job: How to work in Crunch in team and pressure.

Most enjoyable part would be: Flexibility.

A day would start with Reports coming in From Delhi and Mumbai region all the staff details and previous days sales reports.
Leading a team of 30 members which included lounge managers, shift managers and GREs.
A hospitality job , spending the day with a smile and all team members smiling all the time.

It was a great experience to work with mphasis. Learnt a lot in mphasis, training was appropriate whether it was VNA or technical training..

American Express is among the world's pioneer CC Cos.and it was truly an amazing experience to be associated with the brand name!A typical day at work at Amex starts with Costa Coffee,work-station gossip,Training rooms,production floor,e-mails,breaks,meetings -all that and some more.
Out and out a valuable learning experience both professionally as – more... well as personally.The management overall is quite employee-centric while the co-workers are competitive yet friendly.The hardest part of the job for me was most definitely the night-shifts(part of the reason why I put in my papers).But the most enjoyable part had to be the night-long parties and the on and off excursions post all the slogging and toiling. – less

I would like say one American Express is very employee & customer oriented company.

As I have mentioned in my resume that I am working as Lead Forecasting Analyst.. so my day starts with reviewing the performance against the forecast which I have prepared and then if their are some anomalies,finding the reason for the same.

Then carrying out day to – more... day activities like analyzing data, reviewing factor that can impact the forecast etc. – less

Life at Amex is never forgettable for all of its employees.. Company truly believes in all its values like integrity & value for employees & customer.

This was one of my favorite jobs. I enjoyed working along side the Doctors & Nurses. I was able to establish even an longterm relationship through my work ethic with the Doctors & Nurses based on how good I did my work & how I was able to assist them with whatever information they made had needed regarding patients, patient records.

I have enjoyed my time at American Express.

They offer great benefits as well as fantastic training and chances of advancement. I would recommend anyone who is considering working for them to do so.
